Eucerin Dermo Purifyer Cleanser & Eucerin Dermo Purifyer Hydrating Care
Background Info...
If you have tried most products like I have and have been unsuccessful in treating your acne breakout
purchasing these two products is a fantastic idea.
The Eucerin Dermo Purifyer Cleanser is a great facial cleanser and it removes makeup residue and oil left behind from using makeup removal products such as wipes and bottled products.
NOTE: It is important to make sure these removal products, cleaners & toners are also removed off the skin even if it says on the packaging that it is perfectly fine to leave it on or doesn't tell you to wash it off.
Toners are not the best thing to use with acne, it is far better for your skin to splash your face with cold water just before applying moisturiser!
All of these products have a tendency to build up in pores and cause more acne over night or during the day. This then defeats the object of clearing the skin of acne and will make it twice as hard to clear up an acne breakout.
The only thing which should be left on the skin when you have finished before bed or at the start of your day whether your intentions are to use makeup or not is a moisturiser such as the Clinique Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief Gel and always remember the best thing you can do if you suffer with acne is to fetch make up off before bed... I can not stress this enough, do not sleep in your makeup!
First Product...
The first product I will be reviewing today is the Eucerin Dermo Purifyer Cleanser. This product comes in a white bottle with a green press down lid. The bottle is not very see through so if you want to see how much you have left it has to be held up to the light and then it is just visible.
The product its self is a clear thin gel which foams up when water is added just like any other facial cleanser or wash. It is Soap Free & Oil Free! It washes off the face very easily after it has been used and fetches makeup residue off the skin and out of pores very well. The product does target acne and from experience of using it I can say I was very happy with purchasing it and using it. My skin felt cleaner and oil free without drying it out like lots of other products I have used in the past and i had no patches of dry skin after long term use. Used in conjunction with the second product I will be reviewing today I would say it is a very good solution to acne indeed.
The Eucerin Dermo Purifyer Cleaner comes in at £9.50 each for 200ml and it lasts ages because of how much it foams up with a tiny bit!
Second Product...
The second product is Eucerin Dermo Purifyer Hydrating Care.
This product is a moisturiser with a creamy looking colour and texture. The moisturiser has a slight smell but it is not a perfumed or chemical smell. It is Fragrance Free & Oil Free!
The product comes in a pressured pump action cylinder bottle with a lid. The bottle is not see threw and this does pose a problem when you want to see how much is left as its impossible to tell you have to guess. The price is £9.50 so it is a little expensive and you get 50ml of Eucerin Dermo Purifyer Hydrating Care is for your money and it does last a long time... a little goes a long way.
I love this product because it is not oily and it is a brilliant base for makeup! My makeup stays put all day long when I apply it and when i touch my face after it has dried your face does not feel sticky or oily unlike other products which is a must for me.
The product definitely is great for acne and after trying most other brands of products I can say for sure it is one of the best. I still us the Clinique before I go to bed but for morning use this is great and it does exactly as promised on the packaging.
Conclusion...
I would recommend both of these products if you have acne to teenagers or adults. They really do what they state on the packaging and more.
Give them both a try if you are like me and have tried most products with very little success you may be surprised at the results.
The cost is a little more than the standard high street costs but they last ages and they work!
